Let's figure it out!
Usually, depending on the type of protein, the method of production also depends, but we will tell you about the universal scheme:
π§¬First, you need to prepare the raw materials - milk / whey / egg white / vegetable suspension is accepted and its quality is checked, appropriate tests are carried out;
π§¬Next comes preliminary preparation - the raw materials are cleaned, mechanical impurities are removed, and the fat content is normalized;
π§¬The next stage is pasteurization. This is a very important stage that ensures the safety and stability of the raw materials;
π§¬And now the protein is almost ready: after pasteurization, the most important and most interesting stage is the separation and concentration of the protein. There are several typical approaches, and in reality they are often combined:
→ Membrane filtration (UF/MF/DF) or other precipitation/separation methods (depending on the type of protein);
→ Thickening (remove some of the water);
→ Drying (most often spray-drying);
→ Sieving/standardization of the fraction (so that the powder is homogeneous and has the required indicators);
π§¬After that, the finished powder is checked again, tests are carried out for % protein, moisture, microbiology, solubility, etc.);
π§¬The final stage is the packaging of the finished raw material;
After all these stages, the raw material is loaded into cars, ships and travels through mountains, steppes, seas, and roads from Europe to the final destination - our warehouse.
Here we add a lot of our love and make bars and proteins from it so that every Ukrainian can taste the highest quality sports nutrition!π«Ά
